About the City of Toccoa Police Department
The City of Toccoa Police Department will deliver effective and responsive law enforcement services to all citizens of the City of Toccoa in a fair and equitable manner. As an integral part of the Toccoa community, we are committed to communicate with those we serve and to join with them in establishing priorities to enhance the quality of life for the entire community.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Toccoa Police Department is to maintain social order and safety through fair and impartial enforcement of the law.
To accomplish this mission, the following goals are established:

- To protect life and property through diligent patrol and rapid service response
- To locate, apprehend, and prosecute violators of local, state and federal laws
- To regulate and direct motor vehicle traffic in a safe and effective manner
- To investigate criminal offenses for apprehension and ultimate prosecution of criminal offenders
- To reduce the opportunity for crime through mutual crime prevention efforts with business and residents.
