Police Dispatch is moving
Starting on the morning of May 29, 2006, Toccoa Police dispatching services will move to the new 911 center. The service will not change but the after-hours
telephone number will change.
The Toccoa Police Department will be open for report copies, fine payment, and any other regular police department business Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM at it’s normal address at 203 N. Alexander Street.
The new police dispatch number is
706-779-3911. Anyone who needs the police for non-emergencies should call that number starting May 29
th. This is also the telephone number for after-hours service for the City of Toccoa Gas, Water, and Public Works Departments.
The regular police telephone number for citizens who wish to speak with an officer will remain
706-886-8655 Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
There will be an emergency telephone in the front lobby of the Police Department for after-hours. As always, please call 911 if you have an emergency.
